The Yu-Gi-Oh Metas: OCG vs TCG, Are they really that different?

TCG decks work in the OCG. OCG decks work in the TCG. The main issue with having TCG decks be viable in the OCG is the involvement of TCG exclusives. If the deck is much better than in the OCG because of a TCG exclusive it isn't going to translate well. A deck like DW where we never really depended on TCG exclusives allows the deck to translates very easy. Most decks in the OCG translate to the TCG easily. The reason they don't always do is because some decks/archtypes are available to them but not to us. Decks like Verz and Sacred are just per the OCG because we haven't gotten the cards yet. When both metas have those exclusives and the deck works wonderfully.
One stigma that is found in the TCG, when referring to the OCG, is that the metas speed are differnent. Their meta isn't slow. Its speed is no different than ours. You may bring up a OCG deck like Rabbit Verz. The reason Verz are popping up more so is because of the two cards they released for them. They basically just did a TCG and gave a deck that was missing something and amazing couple of OCG exclusive cards. Once we get all of those cards over here the deck can and probably will be one of the many decks that can top/win in major tournaments. As far as meta speed there is no difference in either meta. Especially since outside of those DT decks (sacred and Verz) All the decks that top in the OCG also top in the TCG. I pose this question: Why do you believe the OCG slow? What constitutes you believe their meta is slow?
Once again this is a stigma of referring to the OCG: "They play differently". Play styles in both meta ,as well, don't change. Their is only one way that you basically play yugioh and that's to: Work with what is in your hand, adjust and counter to what your opponent does, and luck. Just that simple.  No other way to explain it.
What is this stigma where players in TCG believe that the metas are that different? Only differences in the metas depend solely on what they have that we don't and what we have that they don't. With that said, once you get to worlds none of that matters because if we both don't have it can't be used. Usually that results in the TCG being at a disadvantage because most of the decks involved in the TCG take off because of a TCG exclusive. With that said the metas as they are right now are not very different at all. The distance is just perceived.
